Here’s how you can incorporate some of our Montessori activities into your toddlers’ life so that their summer doesn’t seem too dull!
Beads On A String
This will improve your child’s ability to concentrate and improve their motor skills.
Gather a few large wooden beads and cords that can easily fit through them. Knot the end of the cord to prevent the beads from falling out and let the child put beads on the string as a fun evening activity.
Sand And Water Play
This activity will help your child tap into their artistic and creative skills.
Set up a sandpit outdoors. Use a few household items and containers to carry the sand and water. Let your child create sand structures and shapes, or just splash around in the muddy water.
Plan A Scavenger Hunt
A fun way to get your child moving and get in some exercise for the body and their brain is through a scavenger hunt.
Hide a few items inside your house or in the backyard. Leave clues behind and have your toddler go around the house, trying to locate these items for a fun reward at the end. The activity will also help your child comprehend directions and hone their motor skills.
