We are a boutique Montessori-based school in Fulshear and Katy, caring for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old and providing a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to join elementary school.
Who We Are
Centerra Ranch Montessori School is located in Katy and Fulshear. We decided to do things a bit differently at Centerra Ranch Montessori School by creating a space that fosters early learning in a fun and safe environment where children from 6 weeks to 12 years old can explore the world around them.
We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage both exploration and discovery as well as emotional intelligence and building friendships.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on self-guided learning and exploration. By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms and environments in a home-away-from-home environment, we can create a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn.

Infants (6 weeks - 12 Months)
Welcome to the Infant program at Centerra Ranch Montessori School, where we prioritize the well-being and development of your little ones. Toddler (12 - 24 Months)

As little ones step through the doors of the Toddler Room, they are greeted by a warm and inviting space meticulously designed to foster their development in every aspect. The room is thoughtfully organized into different areas, each tailored to stimulate the senses and encourage exploration.
At the core of our Toddler Program is a curriculum finely tuned to embrace the sensitive periods of life, ensuring that each child receives the nurturing and guidance they require to flourish. Transition (24 - 36 Months)
The Transition Room serves as a bridge between the world of early childhood exploration and our pre-primary program. Designed with the principles of Montessori education at its core, this room offers a rich tapestry of experiences aimed at nurturing holistic development in our children.
At the heart of our Transition program lie five distinct Montessori areas: practical life, sensorial, language, math, and art. Each area is meticulously crafted to engage children in hands-on learning experiences that foster independence, creativity, and a thirst for knowledge.
In the Transition Room, every corner is a learning opportunity, and every activity is a chance for children to discover, explore, and grow. With a curriculum grounded in the four developmental areas of sensory and perception, physical and motor skills, self-help skills, and language, our Transition program sets the stage for a lifetime of learning and discovery.
Additionally, our Transition Room offers ancillary courses in Spanish, Yoga, Art, and music, providing children with opportunities to explore new interests and cultivate a well-rounded education.
Pre-Primary (3-4 Years)
Welcome to our vibrant and engaging pre-primary classroom, where every child is encouraged to thrive and reach their full potential. At Centerra Ranch Montessori School, we believe in providing a well-rounded education that nurtures the whole child.
Our carefully crafted curriculum caters to children aged 3 to 4 years old, providing a nurturing environment that stimulates their innate curiosity, fosters a love for learning, and prepares children for future academic success. The main pillars of this stage are language, physical, motor, sensory, perception, and self-help skills.
At Centerra Ranch Montessori School, we understand the importance of early childhood education, which is why our Pre-Primary teachers are specially trained with over 30 years of combined Montessori teaching experience. With a student-to-teacher ratio of 12:1, each child receives individualized attention to ensure their holistic development.
Primary / Bridge to Kindergarten (3 - 6 Years)
The primary room at Centerra Ranch Montessori School buzzes with the energy of young minds eager to learn and explore. Throughout the primary room, the ethos of the Bridge-To-Kindergarten program is evident. Before and After School (6 - 12 Years) - Fulshear Only

Merging Teaching and Childcare
We offer a variety of programs, including daycare for infants and toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten.
We also offer after-school care for children aged 6 to 12 years old, at our Fulshear location.
