Job Vacancies

Certified Montessori Teacher (Sugar Land, TX)

Responsible for creating and maintaining a nurturing, safe, and educational environment in accordance with Montessori principles. This role involves guiding children in their individual development, fostering a love for learning, and maintaining the Montessori classroom's prepared environment. You will work closely with the assistant teachers, ensuring a collaborative and supportive atmosphere that aligns with the school's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Develop and implement our Montessori curriculum and lead activities that align with the developmental needs of the children.

✅ Observe and assess each child's progress, adjusting lessons and activities to meet individual needs.

✅ Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom culture that promotes independence, curiosity, and self-discipline.

✅ Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns.

✅ Mentor and guide assistant teachers, providing support and professional development opportunities.

✅ Uphold and promote the Montessori philosophy and the school’s values.

Qualifications:

- Experience in a Montessori classroom.

- Appropriate Qualifications in Education or a related field are preferred.

- Strong understanding of Montessori principles and child development.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.

- Knowledge of the Montessori method and Texas Rising Star - preferred but not required.

Cook Or Floater

This multifaceted role is designed for a versatile individual who can seamlessly switch between responsibilities as a Cook and Floater. The role involves preparing nutritious meals for the children, providing support across various classrooms, and safely driving between locations. This position requires flexibility, adaptability, and a strong commitment to the well-being of the children.

Key Responsibilities:

Cook: Plan, prepare, and serve healthy meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual children's needs, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Floater: Provide assistance in various classrooms as needed, stepping in to support teachers during breaks, transitions, or absences. You will help with classroom activities and supervision.

Qualifications:

- Experience in cooking, preferably in a school or childcare setting.

- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing needs throughout the day.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.Knowledge of the Montessori method and Texas Rising Star - preferred but not required.

Floater

The Floater provides flexible classroom support across multiple age groups and locations. This role involves assisting teachers, supporting children’s activities, and ensuring smooth transitions throughout the day. The Floater also safely drives between Sugar Land and Fulshear locations when needed.

Floater: Provide assistance in various classrooms as needed, stepping in to support teachers during breaks, transitions, or absences. You will help with classroom activities and supervision.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing needs throughout the day.

Toddler Teacher - Fulshear

Our new Toddler Teacher would be responsible for creating a warm, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom for toddlers that reflects Montessori principles and the school’s mission. You’ll plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while maintaining a calm, nurturing environment. This role requires strong observation, excellent communication with families, and close teamwork with assistant teachers to ensure consistent care across both locations.

Key Responsibilities:

✅Plan and implement age-appropriate, Montessori-informed lesson plans and learning experiences that promote motor skills, language, independence, social interaction, and curiosity.

✅Observe, document, and assess each child’s developmental progress; use observations to adapt activities and support individual needs.

✅Provide nurturing care routines (diapering/potty support, feeding, nap/rest time supervision) following health, safety, and licensing guidelines.


✅Foster positive routines that help toddlers feel secure and build self-regulation.


✅ Maintain required teacher-to-child ratios and supervise children at all times to ensure safety.

✅Communicate regularly and compassionately with parents/carers about their child’s day, milestones, concerns, and strategies to support development at home.

✅Collaborate with assistant teachers, floaters, and leadership to maintain classroom consistency and support a cohesive team culture.

✅Support inclusion by adapting activities for diverse needs, cultures, and medical considerations.

✅Uphold licensing, sanitation, and safety policies, and participate in required trainings and staff meetings.

Qualifications:

- Experience working with toddlers in an early childhood or Montessori setting.

- Relevant early childhood education qualification or equivalent experience preferred (CDA, ECE Diploma, AS/BA in Early Childhood Education, or similar).

- Strong understanding of toddler development and best practices for care, safety, and learning at this age.

- Patient, nurturing, and observant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with parents to support children’s development.

- Comfortable with routine care tasks (diapering, feeding, supervising naps) and physical demands of the role.

- Knowledge of Montessori principles and Texas Rising Star standards preferred but not required.
