Centerra Ranch Montessori is seeking Montessori Certified Teachers to join our growing team across our Katy and Sugar Land locations. These roles are ideal for passionate Montessori educators who are committed to respectful, child-centred learning and who thrive in a collaborative, supportive school environment.

Montessori Certified Teacher – Primary (Ages 3–6)
Sugar Land Location:
Montessori Certified Teacher – Primary (Ages 3–4)
Montessori Certified Teacher – Toddler (Ages 12 months – 3 years)
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain a calm, engaging Montessori classroom aligned with the appropriate age group.
Present Montessori lessons that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Observe, document, and assess each child’s progress and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
Foster independence, confidence, and positive behaviour through consistent routines and respectful guidance.
Maintain teacher-to-child ratios and supervise children at all times to ensure safety.
Communicate regularly and professionally with families regarding development, progress, and classroom experiences.
Collaborate closely with assistant teachers and leadership to ensure classroom consistency and quality.
Support inclusion by adapting the environment and activities for diverse needs and backgrounds.
Uphold all licensing, health, safety, sanitation, and school policies.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
Montessori Certification relevant to the age group applied for (Primary or Toddler) – required.
Experience working in a Montessori classroom.
Strong understanding of child development and Montessori philosophy.
Warm, patient, and professional with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Knowledge of Texas Rising Star standards preferred but not required.

This multifaceted role is designed for a versatile individual who can seamlessly switch between responsibilities as a Cook and Floater. The role involves preparing nutritious meals for the children, providing support across various classrooms, and safely driving between locations. This position requires flexibility, adaptability, and a strong commitment to the well-being of the children.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Cook: Plan, prepare, and serve healthy meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual children's needs, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
✅ Floater: Provide assistance in various classrooms as needed, stepping in to support teachers during breaks, transitions, or absences. You will help with classroom activities and supervision.
Qualifications:
- Experience in cooking, preferably in a school or childcare setting.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing needs throughout the day.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.Knowledge of the Montessori method and Texas Rising Star - preferred but not required.
Could you be our next Assistant Director? The lucky candidate will support the Director in managing Centerra Ranch's operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education. This role involves assisting with staff supervision, parent communication, and administrative tasks. You will also also plays a key role in upholding the Montessori philosophy and providing leadership in the Director’s absence.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director with day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, curriculum planning, and facility management.
Support staff in the implementation of Montessori principles and practices.
Help manage parent communication, address concerns and provide updates on school activities.
Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff.
Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the school’s growth and development.
Step in as Acting Director when the Director is absent, ensuring continuity in leadership and decision-making.
Qualifications:
Relevant Qualifications and experience in a Montessori setting.
Experience in educational administration or leadership roles.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.
Knowledge of the Montessori method and Texas Rising Star - preferred but not required.
Our Afternoon Assistant Teacher plays a vital role in supporting children during the latter part of the day, helping to maintain a calm, nurturing, and well-organised classroom environment. This role works closely with the Lead and Assistant Teachers to ensure continuity of care, smooth afternoon transitions, and a positive end-of-day experience for every child.
The ideal candidate is warm, reliable, and proactive, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning, routines, and wellbeing in a Montessori-informed setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Lead and classroom teachers in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment throughout the afternoon.
Assist with afternoon routines, including rest/nap transitions, snack preparation, toileting/diapering support, and classroom clean-up.
Supervise children at all times to ensure safety, wellbeing, and adherence to teacher-to-child ratios.
Provide individual guidance and encouragement to children during activities, free play, and transitions.
Help prepare, organise, and reset classroom materials and learning spaces for the following day.
Support positive behaviour and self-regulation using calm, respectful, and developmentally appropriate approaches.
Communicate kindly and professionally with families during afternoon pick-up, sharing brief updates as directed by the Lead Teacher.
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency, cleanliness, and a smooth end-of-day flow.
Uphold all health, safety, sanitation, and licensing requirements.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development as required.
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children in an early childhood or educational setting preferred.
Interest in or understanding of Montessori principles and child-centred learning.
Patient, nurturing, and dependable with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative when needed.
Comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including cleaning, supervising active play, and supporting care routines.
Knowledge of Montessori practices and Texas Rising Star standards preferred but not required.
